SPU/GSPU Insulation has been developed swiftly since the synthesis materials of SPU came into being in 1930s . With its wide application, simple construction , efficient energy saving and better anti-corrosion effect , the technology has broad application in heating , refrigerating, oil & gas transmission pipelines.

The mature insulation structure consists of multi-layer polypropylene and polyurethane elastomer insulation pipes filled with glass microsphere,nalmely Glass Syntactic Polyurethane (GSPU).

GSPU pipes are normally used in deep sea insulation. GSPU pipes are non-elastic elastomers and it serves its insulation purpose by relying on the glass microsphere filled interiroly.It takes approximately 5 to 10 minutes ( temperature 80℃) for GSPU pipes raw materials isocyanate to react with Polyether compound mixed with glass microsphere and finish curing . The density is 500～700kg/m³ without polyethylene protection.
