The OD(outside diameter) of MP38B comprehensive log tool for production wells is Ф38mm(1-1/2″). Each pup joint is made of special steel materials and other materials which has the performance of corrosion resistance. The instrument has the transmitting method of single cable Manchester’s Code. The instrument can get 7 parameters in a trip. It can undertake the logging task with well temperature not more than 175℃( 350℉ )and pressure not more than 100 MPa (14500PSI) both onshore and offshore.

The instrument takes 137Cs as radioactive source whose photon energy is 0.661MeV. Under this energy value, electron pair effect will not happen in ray-matter interaction. The instrument has the advantage of not affected by down-hole fluid pressure, temperature, viscosity, salinity and so on.

3. MP38B-05 Water Holdup Tool
The sensor of the instrument adopted coaxial cylindrical capacitor structure. Oil and water has different dielectric constant. When the mix fluid is located on the sampling section, the capacity of sensor will change according to different oil-water volume ratio. So that water holdup ratio of down-hole fluid can be detected. The instrument is consecutive water holdup measurement instrument which can measure both at set point and consecutively. Capacity water holdup instrument is the main method for measuring production fluid water holdup ratio at present.

4. MP38B-15 Consecutive Turbine Flowmeter
The turbine axis of the instrument is installed on rolling bearing. Dual latch Hall performs rotation inspection. It has the advantage of good compatibility and linearity. The turbine rotates consecutively. It can be used in both tube and casing.

5. MP38B-14 Full hole Flowmeter
The instrument closes turbine impellers in oil tube, and then opens turbine impellers in casing , forming a big diameter impeller, so as to improve measurement sensitivity and starting delivery rate. 6-arm bow spring ring provides protection to the turbine blade. The turbine rotating part of the instrument adopts ball bearing structure. Different bow spring and turbine impellers dimensions is available according to customers’ needs, like: 5″,5-1/2″,7″,9-5/8″and so on, to be compatible with different casing measurement.
