SQM Showcases TYHOO's Robotic Pipeline Technology in Award-Winning Project
At the CBC 2026 Awards Ceremony (Corporación de Bienes de Capital), held in Santiago, Chile, the SQM TEA Seawater Conveyance Project, constructed by Fe Grande, received the CBC Award for Excellence in Project Execution (Premio CBC a la Excelencia en Ejecución de Proyectos).
As part of the presentation of the award-winning projects, SQM showcased the key construction technologies adopted during project execution, including TYHOO's proprietary robotic system for internal pipeline anti-corrosion lining and its application on the project. The presentation highlighted the successful use of TYHOO's technology in a large-scale mining project in Chile.
The Corporación de Bienes de Capital (CBC) is one of Chile's leading engineering and construction industry organizations. Its annual awards recognize projects demonstrating outstanding performance in safety, quality, schedule management, technological innovation, and project execution.
The TEA Project includes the construction of a seawater pumping station and approximately 42 kilometers of 32-inch seawater pipeline, forming a key part of SQM's seawater conveyance infrastructure.
The inclusion of TYHOO's technology in SQM's official project presentation at the CBC Awards highlights the practical application of the company's robotic construction solutions and reflects the successful collaboration between TYHOO and its project partners in delivering large-scale mining infrastructure.
